Global Barter Group’s Advisory Board is comprised of leading industry experts in banking, venture capital, barter and trading, and international finance. The Advisory Board meets regularly with Global Barter Group’s senior management to provide thought leadership and solution vision. Our Advisory Board members, including but not limited to the following professionals, are respected leaders in the banking and trading community.

Brett Silvers
Brett Silvers was chairman and CEO of First International Bank and President and CEO of its parent company First International Bancorp, Inc. Founded in 1955, the bank is the nation's largest combined user of loan guarantee programs made available by the Export-Import Bank of the U.S., the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Under his leadership, First International Bank grew from four branches and 50 employees to about 220 employees in 15 U.S. offices, with 50 additional representatives in 14 international markets. Brett led First International to expand high-tech banking into the industrial sector as well focusing on service excellence for small businesses. First International has received numerous awards such as the Small Business Bank of the Year from the Export-Import Bank, the President's "E" Award for Export Service from the U.S. Commerce Department, and an award from the U.S. Department of Defense.
Brett pioneered alliances between the barter and banking industry, enabling the monetization of trade credits that are used to acquire various goods and capacities.

David Landers
David Landers is a General Partner of Allen & Buckeridge (A&B), the leading venture capital investor in the information, communication & technology industries in Australia. A&B is an active styled manager of early stage cross-border investments across Asia Pacific and the US. Landers' background comprises a mix of senior entrepreneurial, operating, corporate finance and strategic roles across Asia. A proven entrepreneur, he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Chief Financial Officer of AFL Ltd, a business he co-founded in Shanghai from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that he was the Asia Regional Head of M&A for Pepsi Cola International, where he completed close to $1 billion in acquisition and joint venture transactions. David began his career with leading global management and technology consulting firm, Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he gained over five years experience in strategy development and implementation for clients throughout the Asia Region.
